Training at Pinnacle Home Care, Inc.
Our policy states that all Pinnacle Home Care employees must complete certain trainings prior to starting work. These trainings include:
- First Aid*
- NCI+ (transition, prevention, and defensive/restrictive, if necessary)
- OSHA* (Blood borne Pathogens)
Employees are also required to take other trainings as part of your continuing education competency and continued employment. These trainings are to be completed within the first 90 days of hire, and yearly:
- Client’s Rights
- Environmental Safety
- Transporting Procedures
- Emergency and Safety Procedures
- Professional Ethics
- Abuse and Neglect
- Cultural Diversity
- Intellectual/Developmental Disability
- Health and Safety practices
- Prevention and control of infections
- Prevention of work place violence
- And other client specific trainings to adhere with your job description
